Shannon Moran brings more than two decades of experience with Yoga & Meditation instruction to you and is offering in-person classes within the Quad Cities and online classes worldwide. Also teaching online Yoga Nidra (sleep) meditation classes via Zoom and workshops.

Shannon was introduced into Yoga in the year 2000 and began practicing daily in 2003 when became a part of his life. He is a student of Richard Freeman, Manju Jois, Srivatsa Ramaswami and Suddha Weixler. He teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Gentle/Senior classes and everything in between. In 2018 he became passionate about Yoga Nidra and Zen Buddhist Mindful Meditation. He’s certified over 200 Yoga teachers and continues his journey to learn and practice and to share with his students.

Shannon will come to your location to provide private, yoga and meditation lessons.

Weekly Classes

Weekly classes are offered at The Spotlight Theater on the 3rd Floor. It’s a nice, private space, conveniently located for residents of the Quad cities.

Gentle Yoga

This style of yoga class is great for beginners, seniors, those with limited mobility or just folks looking for a slow gentle approach. Chairs are an option if getting on the floor is not accessible.

Vinyasa Yoga

This is a flowing yoga class that will have more aerobic movements. We will work on Surya Namaskara “Sun Salutations”. You can expect to get a balance of strength and flexibility from this practice. It’s when we balance out our stability in our mobility that her body can feel better and achieve more optimal health.

Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep Meditation

This practice will help with sleep cycles, reduce fatigue, lower stress/cortisol levels, improve brain cognition, lower blood pressure and help heal trauma. Science has shown 30 minutes can equal up to 2 hours of deep dreamless sleep. It’s in this deep dreamless sleep states that our body can access natural healing and wellness.

Group Classes

Provides the perfect opportunity to work together towards a common goal and they’re offered in-person at The Spotlight Theater in Moline, at 1800 7th Avenue, third floor. Only $10 per class, no signup required. Cash, check or Venmo accepted.
